PHYT 653 Medical Ethics for Physical Therapists

This course applies ethical theories and principles to moral issues that arise in the profession of physical therapy and in the broader field of health care in society. Selected moral decision-procedures are examined and applied to issues that are commonly encountered in the role of physical therapist in relationship to the day-to-day practice of physical therapy, and the broader role of physical therapy in its relationship to the health care community and society.
